If you haven’t been to Grandma’s Coffee House in Keokea yet, it may be time to head upcountry. You will find this quaint coffee shop in the town of Keokea. Keokea is past Kula at about 3,000 feet elevation. The views are spectacular, the rolling green pastures are soothing to the eye and soul, and the temperature is just right! You will find many kamaainas taking their dogs for a walk on Thompson Road, which starts right above Grandma’s Coffee House. It’s a beautiful way to start the day walking and talking and taking in the magical view of central Maui. After your walk there’s nothing like a good cup of locally grown coffee and a home made cinnamon roll.
